Sur: Ostgut Ton

Hotly tipped Berlin DJ/producer Shed will release his debut full-length on Ostgut Ton in September.



The producer, who has had work released on Delsin, Styrax Leaves and
his own Soloaction imprint, has crafted a techno sound that is as
stripped down as his labelmate Marcel Dettmann, yet still has a warmth
that undoubtedly stems from his love of early IDM such as Future Sound
of London and Aphex Twin. The press notes claim it's "true techno
music", but we're going to call Shedding the Past "techno", plain and simple.
